Who is The Healing Assistant?
Little Introduction: Iām Gemma.
My purpose: is to be your supportive guide as you navigate your unique path to self-discovery and empowerment. My mission is to assist you in believing in your own capacity to hear your inner wisdom. Through regression, supportive conversations or a mix of we'll gently release what is holding you back so you move forward in life.
My commitment to holistic well-being extends beyond my therapeutic practice. I love living close to nature and currently live in a tiny house, I built with my father. It is situated in the serene hay fields of Canterbury., New Zealand. This connection to the earth keeps me grounded and allows me to feel more in tune with nature, the animals, and the seasons.
My greatest achievements? It's difficult to choose between two major life events. Firstly, surviving a 20-hour multi-organ removal surgery and overcoming ca*cer. That experience taught me the true meaning of living. Secondly, I completed the Camino de Santiago, an 800km solo walk across Spain. To this day, I'm still amazed that I walked that distance in 31 days.
My favourite place in the world? Well, its impossible to say as I am a bit of a traveller. I lost count of how many countries I have been to. I lived in the United Kingdom for 14 years and was lucky of often escape to Europe on holiday, or extended time in Asia and South America. Really my happy place is anywhere I can see blue sky and sun on my skin.
How would I change the world? One powerful way we can change the world is through better communication. This begins with deep introspection: asking ourselves the hard questions and truly listening to the answers. Then, we must extend that honesty to our interactions with others. Expressing our feelings with clarity and without sugarcoating, while also speaking with kindness. Equally important is active listening ā truly hearing and understanding what others have to say.
What am I currently delving into? Well, I'm a perpetual learner, always gathering 'titbits' of knowledge across various subjects, though I'd hardly call myself a master of any! Right now, I'm particularly captivated by the 13-month, 28-day calendar. It resonates deeply with me, as I believe it aligns us more accurately with nature's rhythms. Living in harmony with this 13-month cycle also dovetails beautifully with astrology, a subject I find utterly fascinating.
So that is a little bit about me. Would love to know a bit about you. What are your passions? greatest achievements? what are you learning about lately.
Blessings
Gemma
